Lisa has been practising yoga for 25 years, studying yoga’s holistic healing system for 10 years and teaching since 2007. She has three teaching diplomas and is currently embarking on yoga therapy studies.
A 20-year career in the media and journey of recovery from stress-induced chronic illness equips Lisa with an exceptional understanding of the anatomy and psychology of stress and its function in the workplace. Lisa runs Mindfulness and Relaxation courses and teaches yoga in corporate, community and NGO settings as well as providing private tuition for deeper individual practice. Lisa’s warmth, passion and commitment infuse each session as she inspires people to create a daily anchor for personal peace, and to manage challenge and conflict from greater presence and self-awareness. Her teaching style focuses on breath-connected movement for immediate stabilising of the central nervous system, and a slower, more reflective practice for participants.
